Recognizing and Combating Unconscious Bias

November 11, 2020

Time: 2:00 PM ET

Hosted by the Firm Administrators Practice Group.

Study after study have shown that most people hold implicit prejudices—immediate, unconscious biases against people of other races and ethnicities. Much like a habit, breaking these unconscious ways of thinking requires a commitment to improvement and several deliberate steps. In this interactive session, we will discuss how to become aware of our implicit biases, how to recognize their consequences and how to overcome them by replacing biased responses with non-prejudiced ones.
