Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP (New York) Names First COO

IPA 100 firm Anchin Block & Anchin LLP of New York (FY19 net revenue of $109 million) has named Sharon Franklin as the firm’s first COO.

Franklin brings three decades of experience in professional services leadership to this new role, having spent more than half that time leading firm-wide operations and transformation initiatives. She started her career as an auditor and also has experience performing M&A advisory work. Recently, she led operations and transformation initiatives for a Big 4 firm, a leading international law firm, a fintech startup and an executive search firm.

“Sharon’s background positions her to bring new ideas and approaches to help Anchin serve clients and support our people in the best possible way,” says co-MP Russell Shinsky. “We want to leverage experienced operational leaders like Sharon in this newly created COO role. This will enable our executive committee to remain focused on supporting our clients and executing our long-term strategy in driving Anchin’s continued growth.”
