Eddie Snyder, partner and chairman of Snyder Cohn, PC (Washington, D.C.) received the Sulam Visionary Award for his involvement in the community on May 23. 

Eddie Snyder is a longstanding business and community leader who has devoted countless hours as a volunteer locally and nationally for Jewish and other communal causes. As chairman of Snyder Cohn, PC, one of the largest and longest standing CPA firms in the Washington, DC area, he has stewarded numerous enterprises. From the 1970s when Eddie received the UJA Federation Young Leadership award to more recent recognition as Smart CEO Top 50 CPA’s, Eddie is a man who has brought excellence and heart to all of his endeavors throughout his life.

Eddie gives his time and talents to advance the business community, mentor future leaders, and ensure equity in economic development. At the same time, he has made the Jewish community his priority. He is a committed leader in the Berman Hebrew Academy community, having served in several officer positions of the school. Highlights of his Jewish communal work also include chairing and serving on a broad array of UJAF committees, serving as a founder and board committee member of Capital Camps, and serving on the JCC board and the board of Bikur Cholim.

Eddie has been a pivotal advisor to Sulam on many initiatives, including most recently as a member of Sulam’s strategic planning committee where he helped shape the future direction of Sulam and set us on a plan for growth and success. An outstanding leader, devoted husband to Ann Wimpfheimer and proud father to Davida and Matthew Wolf, Ami Snyder, and Ben and Yoni Bokser, as well as grandfather to Maya and Lily, Eddie is a role model for the Sulam community and a cherished friend.
