Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates, P.A. (Baltimore) Merges With Baltimore CPA Firm

Published on November 07, 2022

Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates, P.A. has merged with Raymond M. Burden, CPA, P.A., a Baltimore County accounting firm. The merger takes effect November 1, 2022.

As part of the merger, Ray Burden, CPA, and Pat Burden, CPA, will join Gross Mendelsohn’s Baltimore office.

“Combining our practices was an easy decision. Both firms have had a significant specialization in the construction industry for decades,” notes Len Rus, CPA, managing partner at Gross Mendelsohn.

Raymond M. Burden, CPA, P.A.’s clients will benefit from the merger because they will gain access to specialized services, such as technology consulting and investment management. Rus adds, “Gross Mendelsohn’s already significant construction industry practice will gain even more depth as a result of the merger.”

“We spend a lot of time with the administration and operation of our practice and keeping current on new tax laws and other government rules and regulations,” explains Ray Burden. “This reduces the amount of time we can spend with clients. With Gross Mendelsohn’s strong infrastructure, consisting of technical training, HR, firm administration and marketing professionals, we will be able to focus more on helping clients.”

Gross Mendelsohn is a third-generation CPA, technology and wealth advisory firm serving the financial needs of privately-held businesses, nonprofits and high net worth families in the Mid-Atlantic region. The firm has offices in Baltimore, Maryland, and Fairfax, Virginia.
