Kevin P. Martin & Associates, P.C. (KPM) is pleased to announce the promotion of James Matzdorff, CPA, MSA as a new partner at the firm. Mr. Matzdorff is based in the firm’s Braintree, MA office.

Martin & Associates. “James is very well respected by both KPM staff and clients alike. He brings enthusiasm and excellence to all that he does whether it’s mentoring a young team member or putting on a presentation for one of his nonprofit clients.”

James has almost 15 years of experience in public accounting. His practice predominantly encompasses numerous affordable housing projects, nonprofit organizations and faith-based institutions. James is well versed in the technical aspects of nonprofits subject to Yellow Book and OMB Uniform Guidance. James also specializes in, but is not limited to, internal control, staff analysis and department realignment consulting as well as cost allocation and compliance driven audits. James is chair of the Firm’s Nonprofit Committee, chair of BKR International’s Future Leader’s Committee and a leading member of the Firm’s Recruiting Committee. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA) and the Rhode Island Society of CPAs (RISCPA). He is a graduate of both Liberty University and Gordon College.
