Lavine, Lofgren, Morris & Engelberg, LLP (LLME) proudly announces that Scott Jablow has taken the reins as managing partner, effective Jan. 1, 2021.

Scott has been with LLME since 2008 and has more than 25 years of experience assisting clients with their tax planning and compliance needs. Scott, who works with businesses and individuals on their taxation issues, specializes in real estate taxation. His wide range of experience includes high net-worth individuals, partnerships and closely held corporations.

“This year LLME will face its usual challenges of meeting busy season deadlines and providing superior client service in light of ever-changing rules and regulations, as well as the unique challenges of staying safe and healthy through the continuing pandemic”, said Scott. “Given how well we overcame adversities in 2020, I have no doubt we will be able to rise to the occasion again this year. The future is bright for LLME and I’m excited to be managing partner of our next chapter. “

An active leader in the community, Scott has served on the Board of Directors and committees of various charitable organizations. He is also a frequent guest speaker for local businesses and organizations on tax related matters. He has been named among San Diego’s Men of Influence by San Diego Metro Magazine.

A licensed CPA, Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Delaware.

Scott takes over from Larry Campbell, who served as managing partner of the firm for the past seven years and who continues his work as a tax partner.
