Mize CPAs Inc. (Topeka) Names Jan Marrs SPHR-SPC Shareholder in Dual Roles

Mize CPAs Inc., an accounting, consulting, payroll and technology firm, announces that Jan Marrs, SPHR-SCP, is promoted to shareholder.

Jan Marrs, SPHR-SCP, is promoted to Shareholder. Jan will focus on leading the firm’s client payroll services team that currently employs over 50 professionals, processing payroll for more than a quarter million payees each year.  She will continue her role as head of human resources for Mize, as a result of a recent expansion of the HR team with additional investments in career development resources. Marrs started her career as a CPA for a Big 4 accounting firm and practiced in public and private accounting for fifteen years prior to her transition to senior compensation and human resource leadership roles in 2005.

In her new role Marrs will focus on growing the firm’s payroll business by leveraging the best-in-class human capital management platform to provide seamless payroll and HR services for Mize clients.
