Nisivoccia LLP is pleased to announce that effective January 2023, Mike Smith, CPA, Ryan Hynson, CPA, and Andrew Kucinski, CPA, were admitted as Partners in the firm.
Ryan Hynson, CPA
Ryan began his career as an intern with Nisivoccia in 2011. His expertise includes providing accounting and audit services to our profit and not-for-profit clients with a specialization in performing Single and Housing Urban Development (HUD) audits. Ryan enjoys developing long term relationships with his clients and looks forward to working together to help them succeed.
He is a member of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group. Ryan was awarded the "Rising Star Award" by the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce, being recognized as an emerging leader whose achievements reflect exceptional growth in his profession, increased levels of leadership and responsibility, and high potential for future impact.
Ryan received his BA in Sociology with a minor in Accounting from Bloomsburg University before continuing his education at Fairleigh Dickinson University, receiving a MS degree in Accounting. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New Jersey
Andrew Kucinski, CPA, PSA, RMA, CFE
Andrew joined Nisivoccia 14 years ago as a member of our Governmental Entity Group. He specializes in providing accounting, audit, budget, and planning services to our municipal and school district clients. Andrew is also a Certified Forensic Accountant and leads the firm’s forensic engagements. Andrew believes in a proactive approach when working with his clients as well as the importance of communications and planning.
Andrew is member of the Mt. Olive Chamber of Commerce and helps coordinate the firm’s participation in their annual food and holiday drive. He is also a member of the firm’s Quality of Life Committee. Andrew holds a BS and MS in Accounting from Farleigh Dickinson University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Public School Accountant (PSA) Registered Municipal Accountant (RMA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in the State of New Jersey.
Mike Smith, CPA
Mike began his career with Nisivoccia 13 years ago as an intern in the audit department. Through the years, Mike developed a specialization in providing accounting and audit services for both for profit and not-for-profit clients. He is also well-versed in the specialized set of regulations that apply to Approved Private Schools for Students
with Disabilities as well as audits of employee benefit plans. Mike takes a collaborative approach to working with his clients by engaging them in discussions that lead to more meaningful decisions and financial planning and objectives.
Mike is a member of the Jefferson Township Chamber of Commerce and the firm’s Quality of Life Committee. Mike holds a BS in Financial Accounting from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Accounting from William Paterson University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New Jersey.
