Bud Jones, Managing Partner at Nisivoccia, hosted a Certified Municipal Financial Officers Roundtable discussion for our Municipal clients on Friday, October 8th. Presenters discussed Tax Appeal Changes in 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act, and Fraud and Forensics. John Mooney, Partner, and Andrew Kucinski, Manager and Certified Fraud Examiner, gave an in-depth presentation on Fraud and Forensic accounting in regard to local government and municipalities.

Valerie Dolan, Man Lee, Kathryn Mantell, and Heidi Wohlleb, all Audit Partners in our Government department, hosted a School Business Administrator Roundtable for our School Board clients on Monday, October 25th, where they provided an update and guidance on GASB 84 and the Excess Surplus Calculation.

Allison Bartke, Senior Tax Accountant, and Katie Bishop, Marketing Coordinator, presented at the Somerset County Business Partnership’s Biz Fest and Wellness Expo on Thursday, October 21st. (see pictures attached)

The Nisivoccia Quality of Life Committee organized a Ziplining Adventure Course which about 50 employees took part in on Friday, October 22nd. (see pictures attached)

Nisivoccia partnered with Laddey, Clark and Ryan LLP to host the Fourth Annual Economic Outlook Forum for 2021 on Tuesday, October 26th. Doug Collins, CPA, Tax Partner at Nisivoccia, helped to moderate the panel discussion and facilitate engaging conversation.
