Ossandón Auditores Consultores (Viña del Mar) Announces New Partner

Ossandón Auditores Consultores Ltda. is pleased to announce that Senior Manager Cristian Urtubia D. has been made an auditing partner of the firm as of January 1, 2022.

Cristian received his degree from Duoc UC College in 2012 and was soon hired by Ossandón Auditores Consultores as an Auditing Assistant. Due to his dedication and professionalism, by 2016 he was promoted to a Senior Auditor, and not long after Auditing Supervisor and in 2018 he was promoted to Auditing Manager. He has more than 10 years of professional experience, leading audit processes and advising clients from various sectors of the economy.

Among his main clients are public companies as well as private, mainly, of the port industry, foundations, universities, and corporations, which has provided him with extensive experience in the analysis and study of financial statements, as well as advanced knowledge in economics.

Cristian is also one of the firm's main lectures and coaches for its internal and external training provided to staff and clients, in the areas of audit approach, preparation and writing of reports, application of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs and Forensic Auditing.

Cristian also holds a Diploma in IFRS Standards from the Catholic University of Valparaíso and Diplomas in Forensic Audit and Risk Management Compliance from the University of Concepción. He has also taken courses in Induction to Maritime Transport in Containers, Leadership, Accountability and Management Coaching.  He is currently working to obtain a master’s degree in Applied Finance from the University Finis Terrae in Santiago Chile.
